KEYIR NEWSThe Prosperity Party has pledged to intensify efforts to safeguard Ethiopia’s sovereignty and accelerate reforms amid what it calls renewed attempts by historical adversaries and domestic extremists to destabilise the country.

Concluding a four-day council meeting, the party accused opponents of shifting from armed conflict to digital disinformation and regional unrest, but claimed such efforts have failed to fracture national unity.

The Council credited its seven-year reform agenda with strengthening governance, bolstering Ethiopia’s Nile and Red Sea positions, and advancing sectoral growth.

A seven-point plan was adopted, focusing on peaceful conflict resolution, legal enforcement, anti-corruption measures, rapid development, and proactive diplomacy.

Framing its mission as a blend of “Resistance, Effort and Purification,” the party vowed to defend the nation’s stability and pursue prosperity while confronting both external threats and internal weaknesses.
